Kristina L. Sager
PARTNER
Kristina (Kristie) Sager is a Partner with Jacobsen McElroy Booth & Dolin and has been practicing law since 2007. She handles cases including personal injury, transportation, construction site accidents, retail and premises liability and other complex matters. Prior to working in the private sector, Kristie honed her advocacy skills by serving as an Assistant Public Defender for Sacramento County.
Kristie attended California State University at Chico, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science in 2002. During her time at Chico State, Kristie was the Administrative Director of the Community Legal Information Center on top of working full time and playing both softball and hockey. She attended McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006. Kristie was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2007 and is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts. She is a member of the State Bar of California, Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court, Association of Defense Counsel and Sacramento County Bar Association. Kristie has been a speaker for the Association of Defense Counsel on Independent Medical Examinations and on Trial Evidentiary issues involving the California Supreme Court’s decision in People v. Sanchez, a critical case involving expert testimony and admissibility issues.
In addition to practicing law, Kristie is also a published author. When Kristie is not practicing law or working on her next novel, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, playing ice hockey, curling up with a book, and watching sports and movies.
