Alisa M. Economou

Alisa Economou is Senior Counsel at Jacobsen & McElroy PC. Alisa became a California attorney in 2009 after graduating from Whittier School of Law. She also attended the University of Utah, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Environmental Studies. While at the University of Utah, Alisa was a member of the swim team for 5 years and received a full athletic scholarship. In pursuit of her degree in Policial Science, Alisa spent a summer in Washington D.C., where she interned at a political consulting firm, Simon & Co and was named Intern of the Year. Upon graduating, she moved to Washington D.C. and worked as a Legislative Analyst for the American Council of Life Insurers for 3 years. Also, while at Whittier School of Law she published multiple articles in the Whitter Journal for Child and Family Advocacy.

Alisa will handle the defense of complex litigation matters involving personal injury, premises liability, habitability and dealership liability. She has worked in the civil litigation arena throughout her career.

Alisa spends most of her free time at the local baseball and soccer fields with her 3 sons and husband. She lives in Los Angeles County and is a beach bum at heart, enjoys a nice glass of wine and is a huge Swiftie.
