Lynn Evans-Bonzell

Lynn is a native Sacramentan and a graduate of El Camino High School in Sacramento. Lynn is returning to Jacobsen & McElroy after working part-time for the firm from 2001 to 2009 while raising her young children. She attained a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986. She earned her Juris Doctorate at Lincoln Law School in Sacramento. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Lynn has practiced primarily in the areas of civil litigation defense. She has experience in personal injury, premises liability, transportation, construction defect and habitability. Prior to joining Jacobsen & McElroy, Lynn worked in private practice and also as a staff counsel for Travelers Insurance, Zurich North America and Farmers Insurance.

Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, three grown children, two dachshunds and their lab mix. In her free time, she also enjoys reading non-fiction books and traveling. She is also an avid Cal sports fan and enjoys following the United States Women’s National Soccer Team. She is a volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA.
