Stacey L. Malcolm
SENIOR COUNSEL
Stacey Malcolm has been a California attorney since 1997 and is senior counsel at Jacobsen & McElroy. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California University State, Fresno, in 1994. After that, she attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1997.
Since being admitted to the California Bar, Stacey has practiced primarily in civil litigation defense, including personal injury, premises liability, product liability, mold, and construction. However, her first jury trial was representing a Plaintiff in a personal injury case arising out of a motor vehicle accident. Stacey’s experience is in various legal areas, including personal injury, premises liability, product liability, construction defect, and mold cases. Stacey worked with Zurich’s legal department, where she handled complex litigation. She took a short sabbatical to focus on her family’s businesses but has returned to her true passion, the legal field, by joining Jacobsen & McElroy.
Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband of 27 years, their three grown children and three granddaughters. She is involved in her family’s business and church. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
