Brian P. Dolin

PARTNER

Brian Dolin is a Partner at Jacobsen & McElroy and joined the firm in 2000 after practicing in the defense of civil litigation matters and representing law enforcement and public employee associations throughout California. Brian is well-respected in defending complex civil lawsuits with an emphasis on complex personal injury matters involving premises liability, product liability, construction accidents and transportation/motor vehicle cases.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1990. He received his law degree in 1995 from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in Chicago, Illinois where he was a participant in the Herzog Moot Court Competition. Brian was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1995 and was admitted to practice law in California in 1996.

He is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts where he has successfully represented clients at the trial and appellate court levels, including the reported case American River Fire Protection Dist. v. Brennan 58 Cal.App.4th 20. Brian has been a member of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court and is currently a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel, Member of the Council on Litigation Management, and the Volunteer Settlement Attorney for El Dorado and Sacramento County Superior Court.

Brian enjoys large DIY projects and all types of outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking and skiing.
